Michael Manzano, MS is a 6th year graduate student in the SDSU/UC San Diego Joint Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology, emphasizing in behavioral medicine and child/adolescent psychopathology. Clinically, he has experience delivering CBT, DBT, ERP, and FBT informed interventions to children, adolescents, and families, including youth with anorexia nervosa (AN), bulimia nervosa (BN), avoidant-restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID), binge eating disorder (BED), and other specified eating and feeding disorders (OSFED). He is currently completing his clinical internship through Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford and CHC, including working as part of Stanford's Comprehensive Care Program which is a medical stabilization unit for youth with eating disorders. Previously, Michael gained experience as an inpatient therapist in the Rady Children's Hospital Medical Behavioral Unit (MBU). He has also worked as part of the UC San Diego Health Eating Disorder Center Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program and Rady Children’s Hospital Outpatient Psychiatry Clinic, where he gained experience delivering FBT for AN and BN as well as CBT for ARFID. Michael will begin a Clinical Postdoctoral Fellowship as part of the UCSF Eating Disorders Program this upcoming summer, where he will continue to develop his expertise in the assessment and treatment of eating disorders in youth and young adults across both inpatient and outpatient settings.
